# What is KNS?

The Karrier Number System (KNS) is a web-based platform that allows users to store, send, and receive assets on the Sui blockchain using their phone numbers. The Karrier Number System (KNS) enables you to create a wallet associated with your phone number. This wallet can receive assets, hold assets, send assets, and connect to Sui applications. KNS is designed to be user-friendly and accessible, similar to popular peer-to-peer payment apps, helping to introduce new users to blockchain-based applications.

KNS enables you to use your phone number as more than just a contact method - it becomes a gateway to send, receive, and interact with assets across Karrier One and other Sui-based applications.

**Note*****:** As KNS evolves from its closed beta phase to a full-fledged launch, users can anticipate a suite of advanced features designed to enhance functionality and security.*
