# Deployment Requirements

This section outlines the **site**, **power**, **backhaul**, and **environmental** requirements for deploying **Karrier One Cellular radios**, specifically the **FW-600** and **FW-300i**.

Meeting these requirements ensures **optimal signal performance**, **high network uptime**, and **eligibility for rewards** through the Karrier One Dashboard.

### 📍 Mounting & Physical Requirements

Ensure that the **mounting surface or pole**:

* Is stable and rated for outdoor equipment
* Can support the weight and wind load of the radio
* Allows for **clear line of sight (LOS)** to the target coverage area

**Mounting Recommendations:**

* **FW-600:** 8–10 meters elevation, rooftop or pole
* **FW-300i:** 6–8 meters elevation, wall or pole facing target zone

### 🌍 Environmental Notes

To ensure consistent long-term performance:

* Maintain **clear LOS** to coverage areas
* Avoid mounting near **dense foliage**, **metal walls**, or **glass structures**
* Ensure **good airflow** around the unit (avoid enclosed boxes or vents)
* Radios are outdoor-rated, but avoid **corrosive environments** (e.g., salt spray, chemicals) unless proper weather sealing is in place
